Official Statement condemning the attacks in Kabul and Qandahar

The Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in Oslo condemns in the strongest terms today’s attacks in Kabul and Qandahar.

In these horrendous terrorist attacks a number of innocent Afghans including members of the media family, and schoolchildren lost their lives.  This terrorist act is in conflict with Islamic values and human rights. Freedom of expression is one of the important values and should be protected.

The Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan expresses it’s deep condolences to the victims’ families and wish quick recovery to the many injured during the attack.
